Join us for a very special April Meetup!
This Meetup will be part of an extraordinary three weeks presented by the Philharmonic, The Russian Stravinsky: A Philharmonic Festival.

World-renowned Valery Gergiev, arguably the most exciting interpreter of Stravinsky’s music, leads this all-Stravinsky program (read about Gergiev here).

This evening’s concert features the stories of two great myths: Orpheus, a lush and highly descriptive score portraying a distraught musician who seeks his beloved Eurydice in the underworld; and Oedipus Rex, a powerful opera-oratorio which utilizes vocal soloists, a large chorus and orchestra. Actor Jeremy Irons will be the narrator for Oedipus Rex!

Keeping in the Russian theme, dinner/drinks will be at the Russian Vodka Room, a short walk from Lincoln Center at 6pm! Happy Hour will be available until 7, at which time the restaurant features live piano music.

For our Meetup friends, tickets are only $27* for Orchestra Seats, where we’ll be seated together as a group.
*$27 price includes a $2 surcharge that is already factored in.

8:00 PM: Concert begins at Avery Fisher Hall.

Please note the cut off date will be Monday, April 26th at 5:00 PM.

**Tickets will be distributed at dinner. If you are NOT attending the dinner, your tickets will be left at the box office for pick up after 10:00am day of concert (April 30th).
